VirtualBox 6.1.32 has already been released and arrives solving 18 errors

After several weeks of development, Oracle recently released the release of the new corrective version of "VirtualBox 6.1.32" in which it indicates that about 18 bug fixes were made.
For those who are not familiar with VirtualBox, I can tell you that this is a cross-platform virtualization tool that gives us the possibility of creating virtual drives where we can install an operating system within the one we normally use.

Major VirtualBox 6.1.32

This new release introduces additions for Linux host environments that address accessibility issues for certain classes of USB devices. For environments running on top of the Hyper-V hypervisor, guest system RAM management subsystem support for the Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity (HVCI) mechanism has been improved.
On the part of the additions for Solaris host environments they fixed a bug in the installer that caused it to crash on Solaris 10 and also fixed a flaw in the package (vboxshell.py script did not have execute permissions).
Regarding the corrections, it is mentioned that two local vulnerabilities were corrected: CVE-2022-21394 (Severity 6.5 of 10) and CVE-2022-21295 (Severity 3.8). The second vulnerability appears only on the Windows platform. Details about the nature of the problems have not yet been released.
Also fixed OS/2 stability issues in Virtual Machine Manager in guest environments with newer AMD processors (problems arose due to the lack of a TLB flush operation in OS/2).

Of the other changes that stand out from this new version:

Fixed an issue with input loss of focus in the GUI when using the minibar in full screen mode.
In the sound card emulation code, an issue with creating an empty debug log when the OSS backend is enabled has been resolved.
In the emulator of the E1000 network adapter, the transfer of link state information to the Linux kernel has been established.
The automated installation fixes a regression that caused a crash on Windows XP and Windows 10 systems.
Resolved an issue with incorrect mouse cursor position in text mode on guests.
Guest Control improves Unicode handling and resolves problems with copying directories between the host environment and the guest system.
Shared clipboard has improved the transfer of HTML content between X11 and Windows-based guests and hosts.
Additions for OS/2 resolve issues with setting extended attributes on shared directories

How to install the patch version of VirtualBox in Ubuntu and derivatives?
For those who are already VirtualBox users and have not yet updated to the new version, they should know that they can only update by opening a terminal and typing the following command in it:

Sudo apt update

Sudo apt upgrade

Now for those of you who are not yet users, you should know that before you install, you need to make sure that hardware virtualization is enabled. If you are using an Intel processor, you must enable VT-x or VT-d from your computer's BIOS.
In the case of Ubuntu and its derivatives, we have two methods to install the application or update to the new version.
The first method is by downloading the "deb" package offered from the official website of the application. The link is this.
The other method is adding the repository to the system. To add the official VirtualBox package repository, open a terminal with Ctrl + Alt + T and run the following command:
echo "deb https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian $(lsb_release -cs) contrib" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/virtualbox.list
This done, now we must add the public PGP key of the official repository of VirtualBox packages to the system.
Otherwise, we will not be able to use the official VirtualBox package repository. To add the public PGP key of the official VirtualBox package repository, run the following command:
wget -q https://www.virtualbox.org/download/oracle_vbox_2016.asc -OR- | sudo apt-key add –
We must update the APT package repository with the following command:

Sudo apt-get update

Once this is done, we are now going to proceed to install VirtualBox to the system with:

Sudo apt install virtualbox-6.1

And ready with that, we can use the new version of VirtualBox in our system.
