The Netgear Nighthawk AX8 EAX80 is currently the best repeater in the test – beating the market leader AVM with the FRITZ!Repeaters. In the test, the device scored not only with fabulous performance but also with great features. Among other things, the repeater has four 1 Gbit/s LAN ports and a USB Type A 3.0 port and WPA3 encryption. Our test center also rates the speed as "very good". However, the Netgear Nighthawk AX8 EAX80 is very expensive. The device is also not very energy efficient, the high power consumption causes a point deduction.
